I AM NSU Annual Fund drive announces fundraising co-chairs

     Recently Norfolk State University officially launched its I AM NSU Annual Fund which “speaks to the collective power of every stakeholder and the things that they do to support NSU,” according to a press release.

     Ernest M. Hodge,’75 and Melvin T. Stith,’68 have been recruited as honorary fundraising co-chairs for this year’s drive. 

“Both of these distinguished alumni have been steadfast supporters of NSU and believe that true success is being in a position to help others,” the release read. 

      Mr. Hodge provided the financial support to establish the Hodge Institute of Entrepreneurship, a student focused and multi-disciplinary venture that serves all sectors of the university. Over the years, Dr. Stith and his wife, Patricia,’68, have championed the needs of NSU by generously providing support to students.

      To date, the I AM NSU Annual Fund has raised $750,000 toward the $2 million goal.
